Embodiments of the Divine Atma! From ancient times, the questions, “Where is God?” and “How does He appear?” have been agitating the minds of people. The answers have been sought by different ways of investigation. The believers, non-believers, those with doubts and others have not been able to get clear answers to these questions. To comprehend the truth, one should look within oneself. This cannot be learnt from textbooks or from teachers. Chaitanya(Consciousness) is there in the mind and pervades everywhere. The power of vision in the eye and of taste in the tongue is derived from this Chaitanya. People are using the sense organs but do not know the source of the power which activates them. Chaitanya cannot be comprehended by the physical vision. It is within everyone in very close proximity. People undertake external exercises and spiritual practices in vain to find it. The entire Creation is a manifestation of the Divine Will. Prakriti (Nature) is the manifestation of God. Verkörperungen des Göttlichen Atman! Von alters her haben die Fragen „Wo ist Gott?“ und „Wie erscheint er?“ die Gemüter der Menschen aufgewühlt. Die Antworten wurden auf verschiedenen Wegen gesucht. Gläubige, Ungläubige, Zweifler und andere waren nicht in der Lage, klare Antworten auf diese Fragen zu erhalten. Um die Wahrheit zu verstehen, sollte man in sich selbst schauen. Das kann man nicht aus Lehrbüchern oder von Lehrern lernen. Chaitanya (Bewusstsein) ist im Geist vorhanden und durchdringt alles. Die Kraft des Sehens im Auge und des Schmeckens auf der Zunge kommt von diesem Chaitanya. Die Menschen benutzen die Sinnesorgane, aber sie kennen nicht die Quelle der Kraft, die sie aktiviert. Chaitanya kann nicht durch die physische Sicht erfasst werden. Es ist in jedem Menschen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Menschen unternehmen vergeblich äußere Übungen und spirituelle Praktiken, um ihn zu finden. Die gesamte Schöpfung ist eine Manifestation des göttlichen Willens. Prakriti (die Natur) ist die Manifestation von Gott. Auch der Mensch ist Teil von Prakriti und hat somit die göttliche Kraft in sich. – Sri Sathya Sai, 19. September 1993.
