God is Mahashakti (supreme energy) and jeeva (individual being) is Mayashakti (deluding power); He is the genuine, the jiva is but the shadow, the appearance, the delusion. Even I have to put on Mayashakti to come into your midst, like the policeman who is compelled to wear the dress of the thief, so that he can get entry into the gang of thieves to apprehend them and bring them to book! The Lord cannot come down with His Mahashakti unimpaired; He has to come with diminished splendour and limited effulgence, so that He can become the object of Bhakti and dedicated service. In this world, which is impermanent and ever-transforming, the immanent power of the Lord is the only permanent and fixed entity. To realise the eternal and the true, one must attach oneself to that source and sustenance. There is no escape from this path. Gott ist Mahashakti (höchste Energie) und Jeeva (individuelles Wesen) ist Mayashakti (täuschende Kraft); Er ist das Echte, das Jiva ist nur der Schatten, die Erscheinung, die Täuschung. Selbst ich muss Mayashakti anlegen, um in eure Mitte zu kommen, wie der Polizist, der gezwungen ist, die Kleidung des Diebes zu tragen, damit er in die Bande der Diebe eindringen kann, um sie zu fassen und zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen! Der Herr kann nicht mit seiner Mahashaktiunbeeinträchtigt herabkommen; er muss mit verminderter Pracht und begrenzter Ausstrahlung kommen, damit er zum Objekt von Bhakti und hingebungsvollem Dienst werden kann. In dieser Welt, die vergänglich ist und sich ständig verändert, ist die immanente Kraft des Herrn die einzige beständige und feste Größe. Um das Ewige und Wahre zu erkennen, muss man sich an diese Quelle und diese Nahrung binden. Es gibt kein Entkommen von diesem Weg. Dios es Mahashakti (energía suprema) y jeeva (ser individual) es Mayashakti (poder ilusorio); Él es lo genuino, el jiva no es más que la sombra, la apariencia, la ilusión. Incluso yo tengo que revestirme de Mayashakti para estar entre vosotros, como el policía que se ve obligado a vestirse de ladrón para poder entrar en la banda de ladrones y detenerlos y llevarlos ante la justicia. El Señor no puede descender con Su Mahashakti intacta; tiene que venir con un esplendor disminuido y un resplandor limitado, para poder convertirse en el objeto de la Bhakti y el servicio dedicado. En este mundo, que es impermanente y está en constante transformación, el poder inmanente del Señor es la única entidad permanente y fija. Para realizar lo eterno y lo verdadero, hay que apegarse a esa fuente y sustento. No hay escapatoria de este camino.
