The entire world of manifestation is the play of Brahma, Vishnu and Easwara. Brahma creates, Vishnu sustains and Easwara dissolves or merges. Brahma determines your next birth according to your previous karmas, whereas Vishnu sustains the creation of Brahma. A plant cannot grow of its own accord. It has to be looked after, watered and fenced. Only then it will become a big tree. In the same manner, it is not enough for the guru to merely suggest to you to recite the name of the Lord and carry on with your meditation, he has to also look after your practice and progress by giving you the necessary support and strength. The work of Easwara is to make things merge with infinity. Laya or dissolution means merging the soul with Paramatma. Easwara dissolves the individual into the Universal. Thus, the entire process consists of creation, sustenance and merger. The trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheswara does not represent the three gurus but relates to the same being functioning in three different directions at three different times. – Summer Showers, Jun 20, 1973.

Die gesamte Welt der Manifestation ist das Spiel von Brahma, Vishnu und Easwara. Brahma erschafft, Vishnu erhält und Easwara löst sich auf oder verschmilzt. Brahma bestimmt euer nächstes Leben entsprechend euren früheren Karmas, während Vishnu die Schöpfung von Brahma aufrechterhält. Eine Pflanze kann nicht aus eigenem Antrieb wachsen. Sie muss gepflegt, bewässert und eingezäunt werden. Erst dann wird sie zu einem großen Baum. In gleicher Weise reicht es nicht aus, wenn der Guru euch nur vorschlägt, den Namen Gottes zu rezitieren und mit eurer Meditation fortzufahren, er muss sich auch um eure Praxis und euren Fortschritt kümmern, indem er euch die notwendige Unterstützung und Kraft gibt. Die Arbeit von Easwara besteht darin, die Dinge mit der Unendlichkeit verschmelzen zu lassen. Laya oder Auflösung bedeutet die Verschmelzung der Seele mit dem Paramatman. Easwara löst das Individuelle in das Universelle auf. So besteht der gesamte Prozess aus Schöpfung, Erhaltung und Verschmelzung. Die Dreifaltigkeit von Brahma, Vishnu und Maheswara stellt nicht die drei Gurus dar, sondern bezieht sich auf ein und dasselbe Wesen, das in drei verschiedenen Richtungen und zu drei verschiedenen Zeiten wirkt. – Summer Showers, 20.
