When we practise Dharma, the Divinity in us will manifest itself spontaneously. One should not limit Dharma to mere words. Man is regarded as the very embodiment of righteousness. But he will not be worthy of this appellation if he does not lead a life of Dharma. Everyone should realise that to attain oneness with Divinity is the goal of human life. Hence it is everyone’s duty to develop faith in the Divine. With the growth of faith, if one leads a life devoted to Dharma, Satya and Neeti (Righteousness, Truth and Justice), he will be achieving the purpose of life. The man who does not follow Dharma is a burden on the earth. All the wealth he may accumulate will not accompany him when he leaves the world. It is more important to earn the grace of God than earn all the wealth in the world. Develop love of God and realise the bliss that is beyond all words. – Divine Discourse, Jan 19, 1984.

Wenn wir Dharma praktizieren, wird sich die Göttlichkeit in uns spontan manifestieren. Man sollte den Dharma nicht auf bloße Worte beschränken. Der Mensch wird als die eigentliche Verkörperung der Rechtschaffenheit angesehen. Aber er wird dieser Bezeichnung nicht würdig sein, wenn er nicht ein Leben des Dharma führt. Jeder sollte erkennen, dass es das Ziel des menschlichen Lebens ist, die Einheit mit dem Göttlichen zu erreichen. Daher ist es die Pflicht eines jeden, den Glauben an das Göttliche zu entwickeln. Wenn der Glaube wächst und man ein Leben führt, das Dharma, Satya und Neeti (Rechtschaffenheit, Wahrheit und Gerechtigkeit) gewidmet ist, wird man den Zweck des Lebens erreichen. Der Mensch, der nicht dem Dharma folgt, ist eine Last für die Erde. All der Reichtum, den er anhäufen mag, wird ihn nicht begleiten, wenn er die Welt verlässt. Es ist wichtiger, die Gnade Gottes zu erlangen, als allen Reichtum der Welt zu verdienen. Entwickelt Liebe zu Gott und erkennt die Glückseligkeit, die jenseits aller Worte ist. – Sri Sathya Sai, 19.
